Target’s “egg-cellent” Easter signage and goodies. 

So no need to go on about how we here at Designbarf love Target. So we may post a little on Target here and there, get over it. We just want to honor Targets ability to bring design into the everyday retail store. Ohh….Ahh….

 

2009 Target "egg-cellent" Easter Signage

We’ve done some research but couldn’t uncover if a particular design firm is behind Target’s 2009 Easter signage or if it was done in house. We may also use some ninja skills to catch some better photos of the entire campaign. In short there are bunnies and machines, making and delivering well, easter eggs. Above is the entry way signage. Each piece is mechanical. Executed  in a slightly retro but still very modern aesthetic like many of Target’s other campaigns. The seasonal signage is fun and whimsical. With clever or “egg-cellent” names, breezy colors, illustrative, and pretty typography. 

They’ve also extended out into the merchandising realm (of course) with some fun packaging on easter candy and supplies. 

Basically, if your at Target between now and Easter, take some time to stroll by the seasonal section. There are plenty of design delights waiting for you.
